Vendor inspection, sometimes referred to as Third Party Inspection, covers inspection activities performed at the vendor's workshop for all types of mechanical, electrical, electronic and instrumentation equipment and materials that are purchased by Clients for the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Power, Pharmaceutical and Mining industries.

Northstar is capable of performing inspections for a single order or multiple orders for an entire project. The scope or level of inspection is determined by the Client's requirements which are normally controlled by a Quality Plan. The scope can range from a final inspection to an intensive inspection sequence starting from the pre-production meeting, through identification and inspection of raw materials, inspection at all prescribed hold points, witnessing of all tests, verification of all documentation / certificates and a final release inspection.
